Do you have a criminal living next door to you? This sounds like the plot for a good book or a movie, but more often nowadays, it’s becoming real life. Your next-door neighbor, who you’ve known for over 20 years and whose daughter baby-sat your kids, gets arrested for his involvement in a drug-smuggling ring. A family member is caught breaking and entering into a local business at night. A close friend is arrested for shoplifting at a local grocery store. Do these incidents sound far-fetched?
