The corporate crime statistics will be increasing as the economy worsens. More and more employees will be committing crimes against their employers. These crimes will range from petty theft of office supplies because they can’t afford to buy their kids back to school supplies to elaborate plans to steal inventory right out the back door. In addition, as the economy worsens and more people get laid off their jobs you will see more violence in the work place. Disgruntled and depressed employees will kill their co-workers and bosses and anyone else they think is responsible for them losing their jobs. It will not be enough for companies to just have basic security. Cameras and lighting in the parking lot are not enough to combat what is coming. Chances are that even some current employees that still have a job will commit violent acts in the work place against their co-workers.Continue reading »
