But what is going on regarding the fallout from this disaster? Some stories are surfacing about the bottom-feeding ocean life that people are fond of consuming. People have been told that there is no harm in eating the sea food from the Gulf. Famous Gulf Coast restaurant owners are interviewed who make claims that the sea food is perfectly healthy to eat. However, in doing our own research, we found graphic articles showing oil pouring out of sliced up sea food like lobsters. Also, now that hurricane season is over, what has been the fallout from the rains, storms and inland flooding? Lastly, what will be the ramification of BP’s involvement in this disaster? Will they do the right moral thing, or will they use the laws and system to protect themselves and their stockholders against claims. People learned to grow food and lived in those areas permanently. Now, with disruptive weather and climate change occurring, people will have to adapt again. There is hardly any place on Earth that hasn’t been affected by extreme weather in one way or another recently. Weather catastrophes seem to be happening at an accelerated pace. They are not only happening more often, but they are causing much more damage. Floods followed by droughts, rising temperatures and declining temperatures will all affect food growing patterns and yields. Earthquakes, hurricanes, tropical storms and tsunamis will also play into the global weather changes that affect people’s lives.
