The Dollar Menu Is Dying And So Are You
Among the obituaries you will see in the near-future will be one that states that the dollar menu is dead. Some people won’t even notice, but a lot of seniors, poor people struggling to get by, homeless people, and college students will be quite upset. It seems that every fast-food chain has its version of “McMeals” in the form of a $1.00 menu and these items are some of the most popular sellers. Some chains try to go McDonalds one better and have a $.99 menu. You can live and die at the same time eating from the $1.00 menu. You see, we crave foods that are salty, sweet, and fatty that are high in calories and $1.00 menus provide that fix cheaply. But the cheap food is killing us.
