We provide Survival News Predictions to help you overcome any fear of the future you may have and empower you to prepare for what’s coming… On Friday, April 22, 2011, Japan’s Prime Minister, Naoto Kan, ordered the expansion of the evacuation zone around the Fukushima nuclear power plants. The fear is that the cumulative radiation levels may pose a risk to residents. Other parts of the area that were not evacuated were declared “emergency evacuation preparation zones.” This means people in these areas should prepare to evacuate in case the crisis at the plant suddenly gets worse. Some people may find it difficult to evacuate in a hurry. Children, expectant mothers, the elderly and those requiring medical care may want to evacuate now. But it is taking time for the government to build temporary housing for all who need it and some have to be put up at hotels. People who raise cattle want to ship them out of the evacuation zone. This will require the government to screen all for radiation, just like food and vegetables are being screened. Food will become a major concern both in and outside of Japan. World food prices have already risen around 40% from where they were a year ago, pushing more people into poverty. Now, with increasing natural disasters in Japan and other places, there are additional concerns about the safety as well as the availability of food. This nuclear environmental disaster has yet to play out and will get much worse as we have predicted in previous CR News Reports©, and will have far-reaching effects that will concern other countries around the globe for years to come. Other countries are already organizing drills to see how prepared they would be to evacuate citizens from nuclear plant areas should an earthquake or other disaster occur. How will these environmental events change people’s attitudes about disaster preparedness?
