Iran is the world leader in deception, denial, and deflection of issues. This makes it very hard to deal with them diplomatically, know their true position at any time on any particular issue, or get a straight answer from their government leaders. Doing this provides Iran with leverage. Leveraging time to continue any subversive actions and to postpone any sanctions imposed against them. This has worked to Iran’s advantage in the past and they will continue these types of actions into the future. The EU and Eurozone’s problems, well publicized in the news, are just beginning. A tsunami of economic and political problems are forming on the horizon. Today’s downgrading of Europe’s sovereign debt, the lowering of Greece’s debt to junk status, and the downgrading of Portugal’s debt, is just the “rumble beneath the ocean” that will cause the tsunami.
