Future predictions or prophecy

VIDEO-CR News Reports©… Imagine if you had the News before it happened. How much better would you have planned your life? You could have seen the Real Estate bust coming, protected your stock portfolio from the crash, and not been caught off guard by the changes in American society. News Flash . . . the evening news is not news of the future.

The syndicated news media are all large corporations pressured to filter, spin, edit, and slant the news to reflect a certain social-political viewpoint. News, as we have become accustomed to it, is influenced by politics, fear tactics, religion, pressure groups, and the chaos of the moment. The News is not new. It’s not predictions for the future that you can actually use. It’s history by the time you hear about it. When not lining the bottoms of birdcages or potty-training puppies, newspapers are telling you their version of what happened in the past.

Now that you know what already happened, you can only react to the situation. You can’t be proactive because you didn’t know what was going to happen ahead of time. People react in different ways. . .

* Do you feel hopeless and fearful when you read the paper or watch TV?
* Have you stopped watching TV or reading the News all together?
* Are you unprepared for change?
* What if you knew in advance?

What is a prediction? First of all the highest use of a prediction is something that you can use to change your life for the better. It can be a forecast or projection based on statistical data that have happened in the past. In this case, it’s “predictable” or possible to foretell. Some things can be easily predicted. However, most things that catch you off-guard are not predictable. These fall into the realm of prophecy. Prophecy is knowledge of the future usually said to come from a divine or outside source. Few people are aware of the difference. Predictions can become news – either before or after they happen. But Prophecy becomes really, really big news after it happens and people talk about it hundreds of years later like in the case of Nostradamus.

Whether you favor Prediction or Prophecy, it’s just nice to know ahead of time. Knowing ahead of time allows you to plan. Plan where you live and travel, your relationships, your work, and your future. Being prepared for the future is always better than being scared of the future.
