2009 – 2012 will be years of great reorganizing and restructuring. This reorganization will apply to individuals, households and businesses. Individuals will re-examine the things in their lives deemed necessary and those now labeled “luxuries.” Households will work together to eliminate waste, share in the overhead, and cut back on all less-than-necessary items. Businesses will be forced to deliver products their customers actually want, re-examine their quality, cut their costs without sacrificing product integrity, and sell at competitive prices.
This reorganization of society and business will be all-encompassing. Nobody will escape. Some will accept the need to reorganize without question and deliberately work toward a goal or purpose. They will purposely, with deliberate intention, aim their resources toward a specific goal. Others will become the “lurkers” who choose to stand by in silent desperation while the new society forms around them.
What causes some people to be workers and others lurkers? The answer is the application, or non-application, of information or knowledge. The sheer volume of information also plays into the picture. People have so many choices and so much information coming at them that they many times seem overwhelmed. Not only is there an overabundance of information sources, but a myriad of avenues by which to receive all this information. What complicates matters is that all of this information is filtered and spun by the time it’s received. Biased by government mandate, political skew, and network slant, the same information gets reported different ways depending on the news source. To test this, listen to the same news story reported by different sources domestically and internationally. Same news story, different interpretation and delivery.
The challenge becomes how to use this historical information called “news.” News reflects events that have happened and not events that haven’t happened. The past versus the future. Once an event has already happened, you can only react to it. People talk about it, argue about it, and speculate what would have happened if only this or that were different. Much analysis is put into how things would have turned out differently if only ________. Many times this analysis becomes tomorrow’s news and the cycle continues.
While it is impossible to plan an outcome for an event that has already occurred, you can, however, plan for an event that hasn’t happened – if you know it’s coming and when. If you know it’s going to rain Saturday, you plan to take an umbrella. The Weather forecast is a prediction. The meteorologist is a predictor. This predictor uses a tool, radar, to foresee (foretell) a future outcome. This tool brings through a prediction of a possible outcome; this information is used by some to plan; and when it rained on Saturday, those prepared experienced an intended advantage. The formula is: Prediction + Planning = Intended Advantage (P1 + P2 = IA).
Like the Meteorologist, a Psychic is a predictor. . . a forecaster, a prophet, a foreseer, a foreteller. Nostradamus was a Predictor or Psychic. He made forecasts or predictions of the future. Using his predictions, some people (workers) prepared for what was to come. Some didn’t (lurkers). Lurkers try to ignore the news or shut it out completely by not having a TV and never reading a newspaper. They don’t want to hear or read anything “bad.” With the belief that avoiding the news isolates them from the outcome, lurkers get knocked about through life like the ball in a pinball game. Eventually, they fall through the hole at the base of the game only to be shot out again and knocked around some more.
What if you knew the real estate market would crash a year ahead of time? As predicted in our CR News Reports© would you then protect your investment by selling out at the top and become a renter? How about if you knew the economy would enter into a serious recession beforehand? Would you have done everything you could to position yourself for the challenging future coming? All these occurrences were predicted far in advance in the CR News Reports©.
“Things” happen to lurkers and they become victims. “Events” happen for informed and prepared people. Lurkers develop a victim mentality. People who act on predictions do not feel like victims or the pinball.
In the future, the Lurkers – those who choose to stand by in silent desperation will become unwilling participants in the new world order. As the volume of news voices expands exponentially, the need for clarity and a trusted source of predictions will go from being useful to becoming essential.
2009 – 2012 will be the years of reorganization and restructuring in all areas of peoples’ lives. Some people who are not prepared will have this restructuring forced upon them. Others will listen to the predictors and use the information to make the necessary adjustments in their lives in order to live a life of intended purpose.
