Good news for 2009 and beyond. This 2009 prediction will reveal the instability of most institutions and corporations. Employees that get layed-off in record numbers will start their own businesses based on the needs and demands of today’s businesses and consumers. They will see that the companies that used to employ them are stuck in an old, worn out model. They are so invested in it that even when they do see the changes they should make they don’t know how to let go of the old model. This is a huge opportunity for those that they lay-off. They will be the pioneers of the new model, the seeds of change.

Necessity is the mother of invention and that certainly applies now. Apply your talents to what the world needs now. Most likely you will come up with something that you always wanted to do that hasn’t been done before. Don’t force something from the past to work for you now. It’s no time to reinvent the wheel. Accept total responsibility for your life. Make your own decisions and the results will be your reward.
